thin blue lineAstronaut Ron Garan is a regular poster to Google Plus and has posted some of his images from his walks in Space. This shot was taken when the Japanese section of the International Space Station (ISS) was being upgraded.

His words – “Terminator: the line that separates night from (day/darkness) light. But look closer, do you see that thin blue line on the horizon? That’s the only thing that keeps every living thing on our planet alive. That paper-thin layer is all that makes up our atmosphere.”
